We have a name

“God does not nail us to our sin, he does not identify us by the evil we have committed. We have a name, and God does not identify this name with the sin we have committed. He wants to free us and wants that we too want it together with him.“ – Pope Francis

Reflection: What names do you go by (Jane, Mom, Dad, Bill’s son…)? Do you think people associate your name with only the bad things you have done? Why or why not? Do believe God sees you as his beloved son or daughter, wanting you to let go of sins committed or habits that lead you away from your innate goodness?
